The aircraft was independently manufactured by Utva Aviation Industry located in Pancevo after three decades of inactivity.
The flight lasted one hour. The main designer and development director of the company, Aleksandar Petrovic, told the press that over the next 10 months the entire certification process would be completed to start series production.
A Small Plane Crashed between Plovdiv and Pazardzhik
An agricultural plane fell into a paddy field between Plovdiv and Pazardzhik, the Transport Ministry confirmed for Darik. The latest information is that only the pilot was on the plane and he was not seriously injured.
The incident happened at about 107 km on the Trakia highway, said Tsvyatko Deshev, the spokesman for the Fire Department in Plovdiv.

Four Turkish airplanes and one helicopter violated Greek national air space 36 times on Thursday in the northeastern, central and southeast Aegean.
The helicopter and the airplanes - two armed F-16 fighter jets flying in formation and two CN-235s - also violated the Athens Flight Information Region (FIR) four times.

PANIC: Airplane’s door opens heartbeats before take off! (VIDEO)
The passengers of a small airplane experienced an unforgettably scary situation when the airplane’s door opened just as the airplane had gathered the necessary speed needed for the take off!

BGN 9 M Plant in Bulgaria to Manufacture Airbus, Boeing Parts
An US company will invest more than BGN 9 M in the construction of a plant for the production of airplane components for the leading aircraft manufacturers.
The plant of 2000 square metres will be located near Sofia airport and will produce parts for the control of the fuel system, as well as components for the wings and tail.
