EU Council Imposes Sanctions on Belarus after ‘state-organised hijacking’ of Plane
The European Council has proposed an air traffic ban on Belarus amid outrage over the arrest of opposition journalist Roman Protasevich, after a Ryanair flight he was travelling on was forced to make an emergency landing in Minsk.
The ban will prevent Belarusian airlines from flying in the airspace of the 27 EU member states and prevent them from landing at airports in the EU.

Turkish overflights return after 26 days
Turkish jets violated Greek airspace on Wednesday for the first time after 26 days, with several F-16 fighter jets entering Athens' Flight Information Region (FIR) without submitting a flight plan, according to the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (GEETHA).
Between 3 and 4 p.m., pairs of jets flew three times over Oinouses, four times over Panagia and one northeast of Chios.

The airspace violation was recorded at 1.58 p.m. at 25,000 feet.
They were chased off by Greek air force pilots in line with international rules of engagement.

Turkey accuses Greece of violating Lausanne Treaty
