Lukoil is Considering Building a Complex in Burgas for nearly EUR 1 Billion

Lukoil plans to build a complex for the production of polypropylene on the territory of "Neftochim" in Burgas, Vagit Alekperov, president and co-owner of the Russian company, told the RNB business magazine, calling the facility "a small petrochemical complex" and "modernization of the old production" without specifying the amount of the investment.

The Russian company's CEO is in Bulgaria for the official opening of a heavy oil residue conversion plant at the Lukoil Neftochim Burgas refinery. Similar facilities are only located in 7 other countries around the world.
