Kosovars in a Flap Over Roundabout Flag
A decision to change the flag waving from a tall pole at at the entrance to Pristina, at the place known as "the roundabout", has divided the public in Kosovo.
Up until Tuesday, the red and black Albanian national flag waved from the pole - but Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj then gave an order to replace it with Kosovo's own flag.

Thaci: One people, two states... it's never been better
"We are one nation with two sovereign states. Both of our states have one dream, they have one goal, integration into Euro-Atlantic institutions," Thaci said at a ceremony marking 105 years since the proclamation of independence of Albania, and Albanian National Flag Day, Beta has reported.

The governments of Albania and Kosovo signed agreements on Monday establishing the co-financing of offices aimed at educating the Albanian diaspora from both countries by creating new cultural centres.
The fourth joint meeting of the two countries' governments was held in Korca, a city in southeastern Albania. The unification of the diaspora was its primary focus.

Kosovo Police Arrest MPs For Avoiding Trial
Kosovo police arrested three Vetevenedosje MPs, Albin Kurti, former leader of Vetevendosje, Albulena Haxhiu and Donika Kadaj Bujupi, at around 10am on Friday in Pristina while they were going to parliament to attend a session.

Kosovo Makes Albania's Independence Day A Holiday
Kosovo has declared neighboring Albania's independence day a national holiday.
A government statement on November 23 said that Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj had made November 28 a "day of Albanians…to respect historical and cultural values and good family and social traditions."
