Kosovo: Nine indicted for terrorism and links with ISIS

Kosovo Prosecutor's Office has raised indictments against nine persons for terrorism and links with Islamic State extremists.
They are suspected of planning attacks on players and fans during a football match between Albania and Israel, played in Elbasan last year.

Albanians must decide if they want to fight Haradinaj's wars and must understand that times have changed and the whole world will not fight those wars for them.
Serbian Labor, Veteran and Social Affairs Minister Aleksandar Vulin said this on Monday, adding that Serbia "takes very seriously" the threats coming from Haradinaj, the leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.

Albanian PM explains how Albanians "saved Montenegro twice"
By joining Montenegro's ruling coalition, Albanians "saved" this country for the second time, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has been quoted as saying.
"By joining the government Albanians saved Montenegro for the second time," he said.
Macedonia President Defends Refusal to Offer Mandate
The office of Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov on Monday said the obstacles preventing him from awarding a mandate to the opposition Social Democrat leader Zoran Zaev had not been removed.
This is despite calls by the opposition and the international community for the President not to further delay the formation of a new government.

Far Fewer Albanians Seek Asylum in Germany
Germany said only 17,236 asylum seekers from Albania arrived in the country 2016, a sharp drop of more than 34,000 on the previous year, when over 50,000 arrived.
Viktor Merkuri, from the European University of Tirana, told BIRN on Thursday that Germany had successfully discouraged Albanians from seeking asylum by implementing tough repatriation policies.
