BRUSSELS - After bilateral meetings, a trilateral meeting of Belgrade and Pristina representatives and EU officials began in Brussels at around 11.30 am on Thursday as part of a new round of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

BRUSSELS - A bilateral meeting of EU foreign policy and security chief Josep Borrell and the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak with a Belgrade delegation headed by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic concluded in Brussels slightly after 10 am on Thursday.

BRUSSELS - The European External Action Service (EEAS) announced on Tuesday a high-level meeting of the EU-facilitated Belgrade-Pristina dialogue would be held in Brussels on Thursday.

SKOPJE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday in Skopje he expected the upcoming Brussels meetings on Kosovo-Metohija to be difficult as none had been easy in the past.

Vucic was speaking to reporters after a meeting of Brdo-Brijuni Process leaders.

At the very beginning, Vui congratulated Serbian basketball players for reaching the finals of the World Championship in Manila.
After the good news, he referred to the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, and said that he would travel to Brussels on Wednesday or Thursday for talks with the Pristina delegation.

PALIC - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday Pristina's PM Albin Kurti intended to arrest all Serbs capable of defending the north of Kosovo-Metohija but that things would not go according to his plan.

Vui stated that during yesterday's informal meeting of Western Balkan leaders, he did not agree with the part of the Declaration that talks about "a somewhat more effective implementation of sanctions against Russia," but he also mentioned that Serbia supports Ukraine on its European path.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has invited leaders of Western Balkan countries and EU officials to Athens on Monday night for a dinner and an informal discussion on EU enlargement and the European future of the region, his office announced. 

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The lawyer of a Kosovo-Metohija Serb arrested by the Pristina authorities wants Pristina's PM Albin Kurti to appear in court as a defence witness in his client's trial.

In a statement to Tanjug, lawyer Dejan Vasic said Dragisa Milenkovic was suspected of war crimes allegedly committed in Kosovo-Metohija in 1998 and 1999.

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian parliamentary committee on Kosovo-Metohija Milovan Drecun said on Monday the latest developments in Kosovo-Metohija demonstrated that Serbs in the province were under continuous pressure that was aimed at showing them they were undesirable.
