Vucic: Italy a sincere friend, has never put Serbia under grave pressure

BELGRADE- Italy is a sincere friend to Serbia and it has never been among the countries putting Serbia under grave pressure, but one that opened the door to cooperation, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday.

Vucic was speaking at the opening of a Serbia-Italy business and scientific forum, also attended by Italian FM Antonio Tajani.

Vucic meets with Tajani in Belgrade

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met on Tuesday in Belgrade with Italian Deputy PM and FM Antonio Tajani, thanking him for his friendship and personal engagement towards taking the traditionally good friendly relations and strategic partnership between the two countries to an even higher level.

Vucic to meet with Tajani before Serbia-Italy business forum

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will meet with Italian Deputy PM and FM Antonio Tajani at Belgrade's Palace of Serbia on Tuesday.

After the meeting, Vucic and Tajani will attend a Serbia-Italy forum on business and scientific cooperation, the presidential press office announced in a statement.

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell on Saturday night, after a marathon meeting in Ohrid, North Macedonia, declared that Serbia and Kosovo had reached a deal on implementing the EU-backed plan for normalization of ties.

However, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic continued bickering at separate press conferences.
