Hahn Visits Serbia to Push Accession Talks
On his second visit to Belgrade since taking over as EU Enlargement Commissioner last autumn, Hahn is meeting President Tomislav Nikolic and Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic among other officials.
Ahead of his visit, Hahn said Serbia and the EU should start accession talks soon, and he was there to help Belgrade finish the reforms it had started.

BELGRADE -- "There is no pressure on Ombudsman Sasa Jankovic," Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic told a news conference in Belgrade late on Wednesday.
According to Vucic, Ombudsman is with his own behavior "saying a lot more about himself than about those whom he criticizes on a daily basis."

Serbia's public broadcaster has a new boss after the RTS Managing Board elected Bujosevic as the new director among 11 other candidates on Tuesday. He will take over in a month.
Following his election, Bujosevic said his priorities would be dealing with the station's financial difficulties and maintaining programmes.

BACKA PALANKA, BELGRADE -- Movement of Socialists leader and cabinet minister Aleksandar Vulin said on Friday that "better times" are coming in Serbia "faster than expected."
According to him, this result has been achieved "thanks to the good results of the Serbian government and the efforts of the whole society."
