Putin arrives in Serbia
BELGRADE - Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Belgrade on Thursday to meet with Serbia's top officials and attend a military parade.
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic welcomed Putin at the Belfrade airport.
The two officials went to a Blegrade cemetery called Novo groblje after meeting at the airport, where they laid wreaths to commemorate Belgrade's liberators.

BELGRADE - Djerdj Matkovic has been appointed as the new Serbian ambassador to the United States, the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia announced on Monday.
The decree on Matkovic's appointment has been signed by Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.

Davenport to deliver report to Vucic on Tuesday
BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will receive the report on Serbia's progress on its EU path on Wednesday which will be delivered by Head of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Serbia Michael Davenport, the government announced.
The delivery and the presentation of the report will be held during the government session at noon.
