Three suspects detained in raids against DHKP-C in Istanbul

Three suspects have been detained in an operation against a terror organization launched at dawn on Aug. 4 in multiple Istanbul districts. 

Police launched an operation against the outlawed Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C) early Aug. 4, during which they raided 13 addresses in Istanbul's Sultangazi, Ba?c?lar and Gaziosmanpa?a districts. 

Alevis hold religious ceremony in Hac? Bekta? dervish convent after almost two centuries

A religious service was held at an Alevi house of worship which has been turned into museum, the Hac? Bekta?-? Veli dervish convent, for the first time after almost two centuries with the cooperation of Alevi associations from Turkey and Europe. 

Alevis concerned after six homes marked in eastern Turkey

The Alevi community in the town of Yaz?konak in the eastern province of Elaz?? has expressed concerns after six Alevi homes in the town were tagged with yellow paint. Homes in the town belonging to people from the eastern province of Tunceli were among those which were tagged on their outer walls on Yaz?konak's Belediye Street. 

Provocation

The biggest threat to the Turkish state cannot come from any of the minorities. Irrespective of how serious of threats may come from a minority, the Turkish state and nation is strong enough to stand against and deal with that menace. It may take decades, but no minority problem can be as serious a threat as the majority problem.
