Greek PM's office backs minister over report he signed contracts to rehire sacked staff
Alternate Minister for Administrative Reform Giorgos Katrougalos described press reports over the weekend according to which he signed private contracts with dismissed civil servants foreseeing him pocketing 12 percent of the workers' salaries as "fraudulent" and "provocative" and received the backing of the Maximos Mansion.

PM Tsipras' critical meeting with Chancellor Merkel on Monday
The government is working around the clock to prepare the detailed list of reforms that the Greek side will present at tomorrow's critical meeting between Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin.
Several burning issues will be discussed during this meeting, including the serious challenges Europe is facing as well as bilateral issues.

Greece sees reforms deal with lenders in next 10 days, spokesman says
Greece expects to reach a cash-for-reforms deal with its creditors in the next 10 days and intends to meet all its payments in June, the government's spokesman said on Friday.
"We think conditions have matured for (talks) to progress further and in the next 10 days, in May, for the deal to be sealed," Gabriel Sakellaridis told Skai TV.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras met on Saturday with the SYRIZA MEPs at Maximos Mansion, at 14.00 local time.
SYRIZA (Coalition of the Radical Left) is represented by six deputies in the European Parliament, namely Manolis Glezos, Sophia Sakorafa, Costas Chrisogonos, Dimitris Papadimoulis, Konstantina Kouneva and Stelios Kouloglou.
