Algeria say ready to supply EU with extra gas amid Ukraine crisis
Algeria's state energy firm is ready to supply Europe with more gas in view of a possible decline due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, its CEO said on Feb. 27.
Sonatrach CEO Toufik Hakkar said the firm was ready to pump additional gas to the EU from its surplus via the Transmed pipeline linking Algeria to Italy.
Agreements For Financing the Gas Connection Bulgaria - Greece Are Signed
Several gas-to-gas agreements between Bulgaria and Greece have been signed in Sofia. The treaties were signed by the line ministers of the two countries - Temenuzhka Petkova, Konstantinos Hatzidakis, shareholders, the European Investment Bank and BEH.
The two ministers also signed an additional tax regime agreement for the pipeline for 25 years.
TAP completes project financing
The Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) has completed its 3.9-billion-euro project financing, paving the way for construction to be completed for start-up in 2020, its managing director said on Friday.

The Kremlin: Turkish Stream will be Operational by December 30, 2019
Most of the permits for the construction of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline have been obtained and its commissioning is scheduled to take place by December 30, 2019.
This was announced by the counselor of Russian President Yuri Ushakov.
