Shipping still in dark over clean fuel solutions
Shipping companies are still waiting for "real green" fuel solutions as part of decarbonization efforts to clean up the industry, a leading industry official said.
Shipping, which transports around 90% of world trade and accounts for nearly 3% of the world's CO2 emissions, is under growing pressure from environmentalists to deliver more concrete action, including a carbon levy.

No increased ammonia concentration near Azomures works
Ammonia concentration in Targu Mures was well below the allowed limit, between 01:00hrs and 07:00hrs, the Ministry of the Environment, Waters and Forests (MMAP) wrote on Wednesday on Facebook. The details came after an explosion followed by a fire at the Ammonia 3 plant of the Azomures chemical works on Tuesday night around 01:00hrs.

An explosion followed by a fire occurred on Tuesday night at ammonia station 3 of the Azomures chemical works, with a man about 50 years old sustaining an upper limb fracture. After the incident, a RO-ALERT message was issued to inform the population in the neighbouring area. According to the Mures Emergency Management Inspectorate, the explosion occurred at around 01:00hrs, EEST.
The Netherlands Cuts Speed Limit on Motorways to 100 km / h
Daytime speed limits on Dutch roads must be lowered to 100 km / h in order for the country to cope with its emissions and nitrogen oxide pollution, Dutch media quoted by economic.bg.
Prime Minister Mark Rutte said it was an "unpleasant measure" but necessary. The existing limit of 130 km / h will still be allowed overnight.
Company Will Invest Over BGN 25 mln in a Factory Near Devnya
The Minister of Economy Emil Karanikol awarded the Class A investment certificate to Agropolychim AD. The amount of the investment amounts to BGN 25,890 million, with 12 new jobs being opened, the press office of the agency announced.
The investment project is related to the extension of the existing holding for liquid ammonia storage.

Bahrain bank exits investment in Bulgarian fertilizer giant
Bahrain-based First Energy Bank (FEB) has exited its investment in a Bulgarian producer and distributor of fertilizers, Arabian Business reported.
FEB had invested in December 2013 jointly with Borealis in Feboran, an investment vehicle set up in Bulgaria to acquire a 20.3 percent equity stake in Neochim, a company listed on the Sofia Stock exchange.
