Forthnet sees clientele drop as EBITDA expands
Listed telecommunications provider Forthnet on Tuesday reported a 5.6 percent decline in triple-play subscribers in the first half of the year compared to the same period in 2017, and a 2.7 percent drop in the number of subscribers in Greece and Cyprus for its satellite pay-TV platform Nova.

Mytilineos announces earnings increase in H1
The Mytilineos group on Wednesday announced a 4 percent increase in after-tax and minority rights earnings over the first half of the year, reaching up to 83.9 million euros, from 80.7 million a year earlier.
Earnings per share amounted to 0.587 euros against 0.564 euros in the first half of 2017.

Hellenic Petroleum sees 2018 EBITDA topping 1 billion euros, CEO says
Core profit at Hellenic Petroleum, Greece's biggest oil refiner, is expected to top 1 billion euros ($1.2 billion) this year, the company's chief executive said on Sunday.
Core profit, or earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), including oil inventory holdings, came in at 851 million euros last year.
Frigoglass sales jump 21.8 pct in H1 2018
Frigoglass said on Monday its sales increased 21.8 percent to 248.113 million euros in the first half of 2018, from 203.775 million in the same period last year.

Greece's biggest telecoms operator OTE posted a 3.6 percent rise in first-quarter core profit on Wednesday thanks to a recovery in its home market.

Hygeia posts rise in profit
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Center of Athens Hygeia SA announced on Tuesday that its 2017 earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization from continuing operations reached 33.5 million euros, recording a 10 percent annual rise.
Its revenues increased marginally last year to reach 206 million euros, from 205.9 million euros in 2016.

Technical checks for the two DESFA bids
Greek authorities have started assessing the technical aspects of the two bids for a stake in natural gas network operator DESFA, while the financial offers will be opened on March 9.
All signs point to the price for 66 percent of DESFA topping 400 million euros, although that will also depend on the company's cash reserves when the transaction is completed.

Criteria for automatic debt settlement scheme
Businesses with debts of between 20,000 and 50,000 euros will need to neet all three criteria set for their inclusion in the automatic extrajudicial debt settlement mechanism, according to a joint decision issued by the ministers of finance and labor, which has been sent to the country's creditors for approval.

Firms can clear debts in 120 installments
The system for the extrajudicial settlement of corporate debts between 20,000 and 50,000 euros provides for the repayment of dues in up to 120 tranches, along with the forgiveness of banks' and tax authorities' penalties for late payment.

Turnover of 1.5-1.7 bln for Mytilineos
The absorption of the Mytilineos Group's subsidiaries - METKA, Aluminium of Greece, Protergia and Protergia Thermo - by Mytilineos Holdings is expected to be completed by end-August 2017, the group has announced, in a move that will create a new industrial and economic force in Greece.
