All Anadolu Agency staffer released after detention in Egypt
All of Anadolu Agency staffers, who were detained by Egyptian police earlier this week, were released, said the agency head on Jan. 19.
"All our staff members, detained in Egypt on Jan. 14 have been released," Anadolu Agency Director-General Şenol Kazancı said.
On Jan. 14 evening, Egyptian police raided the Cairo office of Anadolu Agency and detained four employees.
Sabiha Gökçen Airport offers new sleeping pods
One of Istanbul's two airports now has special sleeping pods on offer for the weary traveler.
The sleeping pods at Sabiha Gökçen International Airport in Turkish metropolis, including TV, internet services, and free hot drinks, will be available to rent for €7 (45.7 Turkish lira) an hour.

Turkey releases images of alleged Ghosn accomplices
Images of two men accused of helping fugitive businessman Carlos Ghosn escape via an Istanbul airport published by Turkey's state-run Anadolu Agency.
The security camera images, first made public on Jan. 16, show Michael Taylor and George Antoine Zayek at passport control in Istanbul Airport.

During a ceremony in Tirana, Turkey's Deputy Interior Minister Mehmet Ersoy said Ankara saw this as a brotherly gesture, not as a grant.

Book publishing in Turkey has grown by 3.16 percent year-on-year in 2019, an association said.
Independent publishers in the country have published 423 million books in 2019, Kenan Kocatürk, head of the Turkish Publishers Association (TPA), told Anadolu Agency.
He was speaking on the sidelines of the Çukurova Book Fair in southern Adana province.
