Two British journalists working for VICE News, who were released from a prison in southern Turkey to which they were sent after being arrested on alleged terror charges in late August, have been deported, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

Two VICE News journalists who were released from prison on Sept. 3 after being arrested in Turkey's southeast on charges of having links to a terrorist organization will be deported from the country, Do?an News Agency has reported. 

One police commissioner and a fellow police officer have been wounded in an attack in the eastern province of Batman after suspected members of the PKK staged an attack on a car the undercover cops were in, late in the day.
