Quarantined ferry passengers, migrants in Tzia under scrutiny
A total of 119 passengers and crew on the Eleftherios Venizelos passenger ferry docked at Piraeus who have tested positive for the coronavirus remained aboard the vessel over the weekend as more than 200 others settled into hotels for two weeks of quarantine.
Health officials said most aboard the ferry have mild symptoms of Covid-19, while two crew members have been hospitalized.
Coronavirus cases rise to 1,673 as death toll goes to 68
Greek Health Ministry representative Sotiris Tsiodras on Saturday announced 60 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total to 1,673.
He also announced a rise in the death toll to 68 after nine hospital patients died. The average age of the dead is 74, he said.
Another 92 patients remain in the intensive care units of Greek hospitals.
Health Ministry expert briefs PM on coronavirus
Sotiris Tsiodras, the Greek Health Ministry's spokesman over the new coronavirus and infectious diseases expert, briefed Premier Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Saturday on the next steps in the fight against the virus.
Four more people died from the coronavirus in Greece on Saturday, raising the country's total fatalities to 67.

Istanbul mass transit riders must wear masks
Residents of Turkey's largest city taking mass transit now must wear face masks to help stem the spread of the novel coronavirus, authorities said on April 3.
"Passengers without a face mask will not be admitted on buses, metro, metrobus, or city line ferries as of tomorrow," Murat Ongun, a spokesperson for the Istanbul Municipality, said on Twitter.

Turkish Airlines halts domestic flights till April 20
Turkish Airlines on April 3 announced that due to the continuing coronavirus outbreak, it will suspend all domestic service until April 20.
On the heels of earlier flight suspensions due to the virus, the national flag carrier's "limited number of flights to and from 14 major cities will all be canceled until April 20," announced Bilal Eksi, Turkish Airlines' CEO.
