Thousands of pieces that have been unearthed during the Myra and Andriake excavations in the southern province of Antalya's Demre district are being put together.

"This work we are doing is like digging in an office. Thousands of pieces are being completed like a big ancient puzzle," said the head of excavations Professor Nevzat Çevik.

Travel writers have penned the "10 wonders" of the southern province of Antalya, which draws attention with its natural beauties, ancient cities, beaches and nature and welcomes millions of local and foreign holidaymakers every year.

Photographs showing the original state of the Radiotelegraph Station, which was built in the ancient city of Patara in 1906 to provide communication between the Derne Port of Libya under the Ottoman rule and the Patara Port, have come to light.

The photos were published in the magazine called Servet-i Fünun in March 1906.

Previously known as "Five Eyes," the name of the international spy thriller film was changed to "Operation Fortune" in the past months.
