Turkey’s golf scene emerging as tourism opportunity
Turkey's Culture and Tourism Ministry has shared photos of the golf courses across the country on its Go Turkey website, as it seeks to make the sport a draw for foreign tourists.
"Golf resorts in Türkiye was designed by world-renowned golf course designers. You should visit golf centers where diversity and trails will provide you a unique experience," the website said.

Patara, a 2,000-year-old ancient city in the southern province of Antalya's Kaş district, which has traces of human life dating back to 6,000 years and was once the capital of the Lycian Union, has been drawing the attention of tourists to the region even more after the year 2020 was marked as the "Year of Patara."
Two storks, surprise guests of Patara
Two storks seen in the ancient city of Patara, the capital of the Lycian Union in the Kaş district of Antalya, in mid-January has excited the excavation team working there. The storks were spotted on the walls of Anatolia's first wireless telegraph station, and after spending some time there, they flew hovering over the ancient city.
