A 1960 model tank will be submerged 20 meters below the surface of the water off the coast of the Mediterranean seaside resort of Kaş in Turkey's Antalya province, to serve diving tourism, Doğan News Agency reported on May 20. 
The U.S.-made 45-ton tank was previously stored hundreds of kilometers away in the Central Anatolian province of Konya.

The Roman-era Perge Stadium, which has a capacity of 12,000 people, will be restored and returned to its old glorious days. Dating back to the 2nd century, the stadium in Antalya's ancient Perge city is one of the largest ancient stadiums in Anatolia.

A Turkish governor who became an instant phenomenon among social media users after sharing a picture of himself wearing traditional clothes to invite Chinese people to the Mediterranean resort of Antalya has deleted the post, Doğan News Agency reported on May 15.

The wonders of the ancient city of Perge in Antalya have survived until the present day, but locals who make a living off of the site are facing an array of economic threats due to a drop in the number of visitors.

Mustafa Erdoğan, the founder and general art director of Turkey's internationally acclaimed dance troupe, the Fire of Anatolia, said he had received offers to open dance schools abroad, adding that it was his dream to realize such a project.
