Tourism festival in Antalya
The 2nd International Alternative Tourism Arts and Culture Festival, Artoros, will host 162 artists from 22 different countries across the world including Italy, Macedonia, Japan, Poland and Kosovo on the high plain of the Taurus Mountains in the southern province of Antalya's ?bradi district.

Turkey loses over 500,000 Russian tourists in seven months
More than 500,000 fewer Russians visited Turkey in the first seven months of 2015 in comparison to the same period the year previously, tourism representatives have said, noting the greatest drop-off was seen in the southern hotspot of Antalya.
Opposition deputy questions sharp drop in tourist numbers visiting Turkey

Antalya Municipality brings together film and piano fest
The Antalya Piano Festival and the Golden Orange Film Festival will be organized back-to-back this year with a decision by the municipality The Antalya Metropolitan Municipality has combined this year's two big artistic organizations back-to-back. The 16th International Piano Festival, which had usually been held in November in previous years, will be held in October.
Fikret Otyam laid to rest after a ceremony
A ceremony was held yesterday at the Ankara Contemporary Arts Center for famous painter, journalist and author Fikret Otyam, who died on Aug. 9 at the age of 89 in the southern province of Antalya.
The ceremony began with a moment of silence and continued with a speech delivered by Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal K?l?çdaro?lu.

Four children drown in four days in southern Turkey
Four children have drowned in hotel pools in southern Turkey over the past four days.
Safa Boutadjine, 7, the daughter of a French family vacationing in a hotel in the Mediterranean province of Antalya, drowned after she entered an adult pool at the hotel located in the Çolakl? neighborhood in Antalya's Manavgat district at around 6 p.m. on Aug. 5.

At least four people were killed after a bus carrying Russian-speaking tourists rolled over in southern Turkey on Aug. 6.
Do?an News Agency reported that the bus, carrying Russian, Ukrainian, Belarussian and Kazakh tourists, was going from Pamukkale in the province of Denizli to the popular southern resort of Antalya.
