'My Father's Wings': Film takes haunting look at working class

Perge sculptures open to visitors

An opening ceremony of 12 sculptures that were unearthed during excavations in the ancient city of Perge in the southern province of Antalya was held on Nov. 25 at the Antalya Archaeology Museum. 

The sculptures were found at the western gate and the Severuslan Square of the ancient city. 

One soldier killed after attack in Turkey's Antalya

One soldier was killed after unidentified perpetrators opened fire during a gendarmerie investigation in the Mediterranean province of Antalya on Nov. 14, Doğan News Agency has reported. 

The attack occurred in a forested area in the Çakırlar area of Antalya's Konyaaltı district while the gendarmerie was searching the area. 

Turkish FM challenges Obama to game of golf

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, who is known for his love of golf, has challenged U.S. President Barack Obama to a round in the Mediterranean province of Antalya. 

Stating that many world leaders had played golf in Antalya's Belek, a resort town famous for not only its beaches but also its golf courses, Çavuşoğlu said Obama had not been able to play golf yet in Belek.
