Because of the Pandemic: The Boxing Match between Kubrat Pulev and Anthony Joshua Postponed

The long-awaited heavyweight boxing match between Kubrat Pulev and Anthony Joshua won't take place on June 20.

This was reported by the Joshua's manager, Eddie Hearn, quoted by The Sun. According to him, the new date for the meeting will be July 25. The venue remains unchanged - Tottenham Stadium.

Official: There will be No Match Between Pulev and Joshua

There will be no match between Kubrat Pulev and Anthony Joshua on October 28 in Cardiff. The reason is the injury of the Bulgarian boxer, and the news about the cancellation of the fight was officially announced by the promoter Eddie Hearn. He revealed that instead of the "Cobra", Joshua will face Carlos Takam.

Pulev and Joshua Came to an Agreement for the Date and Place of the Match

World Champion Anthony Joshua's team reached a final agreement for a match with Kubrat Pulev, the contender for the IBF title, ESPN reported.

According to the information, the two sides agreed on Oct. 28, and the place is Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. The other option remains Las Vegas on Nov. 11, and in the coming days it will finally be confirmed where the match will take place.

Wladimir Klitschko has decided to retire from boxing, killing any hopes of a potential rematch with heavyweight king Anthony Joshua, according to Daily Mail. 

The Ukrainian was defeated by Joshua in a heavyweight blockbuster back in April and the Brit was eyeing another colossal bout in Las Vegas on November 11.

Kubrat Pulev to Fight For IBF Heavyweight title within 10 Months

Bulgaria's boxer Kubrat Pulev is to face the current world heavyweight boxing champion Antony Joshua in a match for the IBF world title within the next five months, Pulev's promoter and manager Kalle Sauerland told media, quoted by the Bulgarian National Radio.

The match is likely to be held in November this year or in March 2018.
