Albania Marks Beatification Of Communist Martyrs
On Saturday, in the northern city of Shkodra, 38 Catholics killed for their faith under Albania's Communist regime will be beatified in what is being called the biggest single Albanian Catholic event ever.
The Mass that around 10,000 people are expected to attend will be held by Cardinal Angelo Amato, the Pope's Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints in the Vatican.

Albanians Want Secret Police Files Opened, Poll Finds
According to a poll published on Wednesday, 83 per cent of Albanian support opening up the files of the Communist-era secret police, known as the Sigurimi.
Roughly 71 per cent of respondents to the poll said if the files were opened to the public, public institutions should be "lustrated" of former agents or collaborators of the Sigurimi.
Hoxha Grandson Arrested in Albanian Cocaine Bust
In a major drugs busting operation near Elbasan, 40 km south of Tirana, police seized more than 19.5 kg of pure cocaine and 20 kg of of chemical elements used to mix the cocaine.
"Our investigation discovered a structured international criminal enterprise with activities from Latin America into the Balkans and Western Europe," police said.
