Constantin (PC): Any alliance including Basescu will fail to win more than 6 pct
Chairman of the Conservative Party (PC, a ruling alliance partner) Daniel Constantin has stated on Tuesday that the attempt to unify the right-wing will not pose a problem for the governmental majority as any alliance that has Traian Basescu in its composition will not win more than 6 percent in the elections.
PNL leadership tender collective resignation (sources)
The leadership of the National Liberal Party (PNL, in opposition) tendered their collective resignation this Monday, but outgoing Crin Antonescu is to hold the position of the party's interim chairman until a congress is organized, political sources told AGERPRES.
According to these sources, the party's congress is to take place within the shortest possible time.
