Boyko Borisov Presents the Presidency's Priorities to the European Parliament

10:00 PM Prime Minister Boyko Borissov will present the priorities of the Bulgarian presidency of the Council of the European Union in the European Parliament (EP) in Strasbourg.

At the beginning, the first plenary session in Strasbourg, Estonia, which handed us the Presidency, was once again highly praised for its professionalism.

EP's Tajani Had Talks with Bulgaria's PM Boyko Borissov

In the morning, Tajani had talks with Bulgaria's Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, reported the Bulgarian National Television.

Antonio Tajani said he felt at home here in Sofia. It is thanks to the Bulgarian hospitality that a new and very good bridge is built between Bulgaria, the EP and the other European institutions, he added.

''It is a great honor for us to be here. Bulgaria is one of the countries with the least Euroscepticism.'' This is what Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said at the beginning of the meeting between the government and the delegation headed by EP President Antonio Tajani,  BGNES reported.

Mitsotakis to take reform message to broader conservative audience

As part of his effort to outline New Democracy's reform program for Greece's post-bailout era, Kyriakos Mitsotakis will head to Strasbourg next month to address MEPs of the European People's Party in European Parliament. 

According to reports, Mitsotakis will also have a working dinner with European Parliament President Antonio Tajani. 

Tajani: Efforts underway for Serbia to become one of next EU members

BRUSSELS - Efforts are underway for Serbia to become one of the next members of the EU, European Parliament President Antonio Tajani said after a meeting with Serbian PM Ana Brnabic in Brussels on Wednesday.

Tajani announced he would visit Serbia in January and that Serbian and European enterprises would meet to enhance the Serbia-EU business cooperation.
