Ancient tomb found in illegal excavations in Aydın
An ancient tomb has been unearthed in an area where illegal excavations were carried out in the ancient city of Aphrodisias in the western province of Aydın's Karacasu district. The tomb was taken to the Aphrodisias Museum.

Archaeologists Have Discovered a Unique Statue of the Goddess Isis
Archaeologists have discovered a unique statue of the goddess Isis and a marble head of satire in the Sanctuary of the Nymphs and Aphrodite near the Dimitrovgrad village of Kasnakovo.
Valuable finds are extremely well preserved and according to experts, their value may exceed BGN 1 mln.
Touring Perfection | Athens | September 21 - October 26

Cyprus: Geroskipou project eyes artificial island, hotels & university
The €3.5 billion development project by Hungarian investor Atum Developments in Geroskipou, Paphos include the construction of an artificial island, university, two five-star hotels and a marina.
According to the company website, the project – Eden City – is a 200-hectare resort development project with three distinct sections.

A middle-aged man who spends most of his life devoting himself to the promotion of intercommunal relations, a re-united Cyprus and the brotherhood of the people of the island, irrespective of ethnic, religious and of course political divisions, decided to take refuge from the roasting August sun in a hillside touristic facility in Paphos.

More than 140 Migrants Reach Cyprus by Boat
Cypriot authorities said a boat carrying over 140 migrants believed to be Syrians, more than half of them women and children, was escorted to shore by the coast guard Monday near the resort of Paphos, according to the Business Standard.

UNESCO inscribes Turkey's Aphrodisias as a world heritage site
The UNESCO World Heritage Committee has inscribed the "Aphrodisias Archaeological Site" on the UNESCO World Heritage List upon Turkey's nomination, the Foreign Ministry said in a written statement on July 10.
