US House recognizes Armenian genocide, backs Turkey sanctions
The US House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly on Tuesday to recognize the mass killings of Armenians a century ago as a genocide, a symbolic but historic vote instantly denounced by Turkey.
Armenian Patriarchate declares support for op

Serbia abolishes visas and opens embassy in Yerevan
According to the Serbian President, the goal is to further strengthen the friendship between the Armenian and Serbian people. After conducting discussion with Armenian President Armen Sarkissian, Vucic indicated that the realization of at least part of what they talked about would significantly strengthen our friendship.
A tête-à-tête meeting commenced at the Palace of Serbia
Prior to conducting a tête-à-tête meeting of the two presidents, the President of Armenia and the delegation that he heads, which includes Foreign Affairs Minister Artak Apitonyan and numerous businessmen, attended a ceremonial welcome in front of the Palace of Serbia, with the Guard of the Serbian Army, a red carpet and the sounding of the anthems of the two countries.
