An open-air temple area that is 2,800 years old, dating back to the Urartu period, has been discovered in the historical Harput Castle in the eastern province of Elazığ.
Turkey slams Dutch government’s recognition of 1915 events
Turkey on Feb. 25 slammed a decision by the Dutch House of Representatives to recognize the 1915 events as "genocide" against Armenians.
Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hami Aksoy said the decision and calling on the government to recognize the events of 1915 as genocide is a null attempt to rewrite history with political motives.

First Armenian museum opens in Turkey’s Hatay
Turkey's first Armenian museum has been established in Vakıflı, an Armenian village in the Samandağ district of the southern province of Hatay.
In the museum, different cultures are also presented besides the Armenian culture.

Turkey's US envoy slams Trump on 1915 events statement
U.S. President Donald Trump's statement on the 1915 events is "void of objectivity," Turkey's ambassador to Washington said on April 24.
Serdar Kılıç said the U.S. president's statement is "based on a subjective narrative which Armenians try to turn into a dogma."
