Women collective gets support from FAO for local food products
A woman collective in the eastern Black Sea province of Giresun has taken support from the U.N.'s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to produce hazelnut products, jam and cornflour using heirloom seeds.

Survey: Climate change serious problem for most EU, Slovenian citizens
Ljubljana – As many as 92% Slovenians citizens consider climate change a serious problem, which is one percentage point below the EU average, the latest Eurobarometer survey shows. 11% of Slovenian respondents meanwhile consider climate change the most serious problem the world is faced with, which compares to the EU average of 18%.
PM warns 70% vaccination rate needed to avoid new lockdown
Ljubljana – Prime Minister Janez Janša has called for joint efforts to convince people to get vaccinated against coronavirus as he warned that a vaccination rate of 70% would have to be achieved until the end of the summer if Slovenia is to avoid new lockdowns.

Turkey formulating new law on water management: Erdoğan
The ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) is preparing a draft law on water management of the country, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on July 5.
"We are preparing a 'Water Law' in the parliament in order to reach our targets faster and to prevent conflicts in water management," Erdoğan said, speaking at an opening ceremony of water facilities in the capital Ankara.
