Two Minutes to Midnight | Athens | To October 27
The National Museum of Contemporary Art (Kallirois & Frantzi, emst.gr) presents a video based on the two-hour long 2017 performance by Israeli artist and filmmaker Yael Bartana titled "What if Women Ruled the World?" The installation, curated by Stamatis Schizakis, unfolds a nuclear threat scenario in a Dr Strangelove-inspired setting.

Six Shows & More | Athens | March 8- November 11
The National Museum of Contemporary Art Athens (EMST) presents a series of exhibitions dedicated exclusively to the work of women or artists identifying as feminine. "What if Women Ruled the World?" is inspired by Yael Bartana's 2017 neon work and spearheaded by EMST's artistic director Katerina Gregou, and comprises a program that explores themes of governance, violence, justice and equality.

Coolio 'died from fentanyl overdose'
Coolio, the U.S. rapper best known for the 1995 hit "Gangsta's Paradise," died last year from an accidental fentanyl overdose, the Los Angeles County Coroner said on April 6.
The Grammy-winning musician, whose real name was Artis Leon Ivey Jr, died in September 2022 at a friend's house in Los Angeles.

"Let's be clear - we don't want a war with Russia"
Austin said this at a press conference in Riga after a meeting with Latvian Defense Minister Artis Pabriks.
"To be clear: we do not seek confrontation with Russia and do not pose a threat to it," he said. At the same time, the head of the Pentagon said that Washington's position is that an attack on one of its NATO allies "means an attack on everyone".

Latvia: If Ukraine Loses, We are Next
Latvian Defense Minister Artis Pabriks called on the partners to increase support for Ukraine so that they do not have to defend Latvia later, the Delfi portal reported.
"Ukraine is now fighting our war - and if it loses, the next one will come and we will pay the price for it," Pabriks said. He added that the allies did not understand this.

Odunpazarı Museum announces call for artist residency program
