Janša talks EU digital transformation framework with Apple CEO
Ljubljana – Prime Minister Janez Janša had a video call with Apple CEO Tim Cook on Wednesday with a release from the Government Communication Office saying they talked about legislative acts that are being coordinated in the EU in the field of digital transformation, and about the importance of cybersecurity in digitalisation services.

Half-shredded Banksy fetches $25.4 mln on return
A Banksy picture which was half sliced by a shredder concealed in its frame when it was sold at auction fetched $25.4 million when it went back under the hammer in the same room in London on Oct. 14.
Onlookers gasped when the then-titled "Girl with Balloon" was sucked into a shredder as the hammer fell following a bid of $1.4 million at an October 2018 auction at Sotheby's in London.

A Frida Kahlo self-portrait featuring her husband Diego Rivera is tipped to sell for more than $30 million at auction in New York, Sotheby's said on Sept. 22.
"Diego y yo" (Diego and I), painted in 1949, "is poised to shatter" Kahlo's current auction record of $8 million set in 2016, the auction house said in a statement.

Picasso family hands over works to pay French tax
One of Picasso's daughters has given eight of his artworks and a book of drawings to the French state in lieu of inheritance tax at a ceremony on Sept. 20.
Six paintings and two statues by the Spanish master were handed over to the state-run Picasso Museum in Paris by his daughter Maya Ruiz-Picasso, his daughter by French model Marie-Therese Walter.
