Bulgarian Ship "Rojen" Docked in Varna Today after Surviving Warzones in Ukraine and Israel
The Bulgarian ship "Rojen", which was in the Israeli port of Ashdod, near the hostilities, arrived in Varna.
The ship sailed from the Israeli port of Ashdod at the end of October.
After several unsuccessful attempts, the four Bulgarian sailors stranded on "Rojen" returned home on October 17.
ELTA cost-cutting plan includes up to 750 layoffs for this year
The rapid plan by the state asset utilization hyperfund (HCAP) to make Hellenic Post (ELTA) sustainable provides for cost reductions and an increase in revenues, including the layoff of up to 10 percent of its workers before the end of this year.
Anarchists claim responsibility for damages to Thessaloniki post office branch
A group called Anarchists claimed responsibility for the attack against an ELTA post office branch located inside the campus of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki on February 15.
The group said the attack was done to express solidarity with Spyros Christodoulou, a jailed robber who has been on a hunger strike for more than a month.
ELTA has two days to find salary cash
Hellenic Post (ELTA) has until Thursday to pay its staff wages for the first half of February, and it appears the sum required has not yet been secured. Sources say the management of Greece's mail service is seeking ways to obtain the amount, which is estimated at some 8 million euros.

Hellenic Post calls 24-hour strike for next Wednesday
The union representing employees of Hellenic Post (ELTA) who are based in Attica on Friday called a 24-hour strike next Wednesday, protesting under-staffing and demanding the immediate recruitment of additional workers for the summer period.
Unionists threatened to continue with a four-day strike, from August 11 through 14, if their demands are not met.
