A 16-year-old boy who was found dead in his home in northern Greece on Friday following a suspected gas leak died from asphyxiation, a forensic examination showed on Saturday.

A 16-year-old boy has died from suspected gas poisoning in his home in Magiko, Xanthi, in northern Greece, while his sisters, aged 15 and 18, remain in critical condition. The incident occurred after the family was reportedly exposed to a gas leak, possibly from a newly installed propane system or carbon monoxide.

Authorities in Switzerland today made several arrests after the use yesterday, Monday, of an assisted suicide chamber, a type of sarcophagus that allows someone to take their own life without the help of a doctor, police said today.
