Firms’ FX assets rose in March
The Central Bank data on the foreign exchange assets and liabilities of non-financial companies showed that those firms' assets increased by $349 million, while their liabilities decreased by $5.9 billion in April from March.
Accordingly, the net foreign exchange deficit was $105 billion indicating a decrease of $6.3 billion from March.

External assets hit $248.9 bln in February
Turkey's external assets amounted to $248.9 billion at the end of February, up 3.4% from 2020, the Turkish Central Bank announced on April 19.
The country's liabilities against non-residents during the same period rose 1.4% to $636 billion.

Turkey's external assets hit $251.4 bln in February
Turkey's external assets hit $251.4 billion as of this February, inching down 0.2 percent from the end of 2019, the Central Bank announced April 20.
The country's liabilities against non-residents also fell 3.3 percent to hit $584.2 billion during the same period.
Piraeus Bank to market M&G mutual funds in Greece
Piraeus Bank signed a distribution deal with asset manager M&G Investments to market its mutual funds, Greece's largest lender by assets said on Wednesday.
M&G is the asset management arm of Prudential Plc with more than 323 billion euros of assets under management for institutional and individual clients.

Eurobank completes successful covered bond issue
The issue of Eurobank's covered bonds was completed successfully on Wednesday, marking the Greek lender's return to international markets for the first time since 2014.
The bond's yield ended up below 3 percent.
