Sources deny Sculptures deal report
Sources within the Culture Ministry have dismissed a report by Bloomberg on Tuesday that the British Museum and Athens' Acropolis Museum are nearing a deal that would see the Parthenon Sculptures returned to Greece over time as part of a cultural exchange.
The deal would putt an end to a feud over historical artifacts that dates back to the 1800s.

Sculptures deal close, Bloomberg reports
The British Museum and Athens' Acropolis Museum are nearing a deal that would see the Parthenon Sculptures returned to Greece over time as part of a cultural exchange, according to a report by Bloomberg on Tuesday.
The deal would put an end to a battle over the ancient treasures that stretches back to the 1800s.

Marking the October 28 national holiday, the Acropolis Museum presents a tribute to the statue of Athena Parthenos, made of gold and ivory, and designed by Phidias for the Parthenon. Presentations about the lost statue - from its history and construction to the myths associated with it - will be held by museum archaeologist hosts in Greek at noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Acropolis wall once sheltering Athena statue to be restored
Greece's Central Archaeological Council (KAS) has given the green light for restoration work to begin on the northern wall of the chamber in the Parthenon temple on the Acropolis which housed the colossal ivory and gold cult statue of Athena Parthenos by the master sculptor Phidias.
