Red tape cuts into part of exports’ value
Greek goods exports incur losses of 12.6 percent - which based on 2018 figures amounts to 4.21 billion euros - from delays in exporting procedures, according to a study by EY Greece for the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEA).

Passenger traffic in Greek airports up 9 pct in first quarter
Greek airports handled 6.8 million passengers in the first three months of the year, a rise by 9 percent compared to the same period in 2018 which saw 6.2 million passengers traveling through the country's airports, according to data by the country's Civil Aviation Authority.
Tourist traffic rises 8-9 pct in Q1
Tourist traffic data for 2019 is looking rather good, as Fraport Greece announced a first-quarter year-on-year rise of 8.2 percent at its regional airports, though this is attributed mainly to domestic rather than foreign travelers.

Ryanair to halt Athens-Thessaloniki flights

Bad weather prompts flight cancellations in Thessaloniki airport
Low-lying clouds led to flight cancellations and delays to Thessaloniki's Makedonia airport on Thursday, according to airport manager Fraport Greece.
Sky Express offering reduced Zakynthos airfares after quakes
Following the series of earthquakes that have shaken Zakynthos in recent days, Greek airline Sky Express has announced that it is cutting its ticket fares from Athens to the Ionian island to 29.37 euros (final price) and from Zakynthos to Athens to 24.90 euros.
This concerns all bookings for this month made by next Tuesday, November 6.
Hundreds of tourists stranded as carrier folds
Nordic budget airline Primera Air declared bankruptcy on Monday, stranding hundreds of tourists on the Greek islands and leaving them scrambling for a way to get back home.
"On this sad day we are saying goodbye to all of you," the airline wrote in a note on its website dated September 30.
