Atmospheric dynamics

Today there will be substantial cloudiness over the country and it will rain in many places in Western and Central Bulgaria, with thunder and sometimes stronger wind in the afternoon. In the eastern regions, there will be up to moderate wind from east-northeast.

The atmospheric pressure in the morning hours is lower than the average for February, but it will increase during the day until surpassing the average level in the afternoon.

 It will be mostly sunny today. There will be moderate wind from west-northwest which will weaken in the evening.

Maximum temperatures will range between 8°C and 13°C, in Sofia around 9°C, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) told FOCUS News Agency.

Today will be mostly cloudy with temporary decrease in clouds. Light to moderate southwest wind will blow in eastern Bulgaria, becoming northeast in the afternoon in the northeastern regions. The maximum temperatures will range between 15°C and 20°C. Atmospheric pressure will rise but will remain below the November average. 

The strong wind in Varna, which during the night reached 65 km / h, caused a rare natural phenomenon on 30th of October - outflow of the sea.

Today the rains will continue, in substantial volumes in Central and Eastern Bulgaria, while in the western regions the rain will decrease for some time, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) told FOCUS News Agency.
