The Garden of Pleasures | Athens | August 4

The Athenian leg of the Athens Epidaurus Festival will come to a grand finale with "The Garden of Pleasures" at the Herod Atticus Theater (aefestival.gr). Directed by French artist Philippe Ken, the play is a captivating allegorical spectacle, blurring the lines between utopia and dystopia, inspired by Hieronymus Bosch's iconic Renaissance painting.

Waterboys | Athens | June 22

British-Irish folk rock band the Waterboys are coming back to Greece this summer for another electrifying show. The Big Music outfit formed in 1983 and known for hits including "The Whole of the Moon" will be performing at the Herod Atticus Theater as part of the Athens-Epidaurus Festival. Mario Biondi | Athens | September 28

Italian soul and jazz singer Mario Biondi, known for his mellow baritone that harks back to the sounds of the 70s, will be appearing at the Herod Atticus Theater on Saturday, September 28. Hailed as an Italian Barry White, the 48-year-old artist has shared the stage with greats such as Ray Charles and worked beside the likes of Chaka Kahn, Michael Bolton, Incognito and The Crusaders.

Progressive British rock band Archive celebrates its quarter-century anniversary with shows at the Herod Atticus Theater and the Principal Club in Thessaloniki on September 13 and 14, respectively. The 11-piece band has released 10 studio albums since 1994 and undergone several transformations in terms of both its music and members.

Queen Symphonic – New Date | Athens | September 7 & 8

Due to popular demand, the organizers of the Queen Symphonic show at the Herod Atticus Theater have added another date, Sunday, September 8. In the concert, leading actors from the West End musical "We Will Rock You" are joined by a 60-member symphony orchestra in some of the best-loved songs of the great British rock band Queen.
