Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his Paraguayan counterpart Mario Abdo Benitez agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations during a meeting in the capital Asuncion on Dec. 2.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and United States President Donald Trump have discussed an ongoing bilateral agreement that stipulates clearing the Manbij province of Syria of the YPG militants along with other troubled aspects of the ties in a face-to-face meeting on the margins of the G20 summit in Argentina.

U.S. President Donald Trump will meet his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during the G20 summit in Argentina, Trump's top security aide said Nov. 27.

Turkey's top security board has convened to discuss the recent developments in the region that pose a threat on the country's safety, as President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has vowed that Ankara will take all necessary measures to counter the YPG in the east of Syria. The meeting came after the United States decided to establish observation posts along the Syrian border.
