Bulgarian Citizen was Shot Dead by the Police in Indonesia

Indonesian police shot a man of Bulgarian nationality allegedly involved in ATM theft schemes, reported local newspaper The Jakarta Post quoted by FOCUS News Agency as saying. The incident happened two weeks after the arrest of two other Bulgarians, along with one Chilean and one Taiwanese citizen in connection with a series of ATM cases.

Vandals target ATM in Thessaloniki suburb

Unidentified vandals early on Thursday damaged a bank ATM in the Pefka suburb of Thessaloniki, fleeing with an unidentified sum.

The assailants appear to have first smashed the glass screen of the ATM before channeling flammable gas into the machine and igniting it.

A similar incident earlier this week targeted an ATM in the Stavroupoli suburb of the northern city.

Unidentified arsonists rob ATM in Thessaloniki

Unidentified arsonists vandalized a bank ATM in the Thessaloniki district of Stavroupoli in the early hours of Monday, causing damage but no injuries.

The assailants appear to have first smashed the glass screen of the ATM before channeling flammable gas into the machine and igniting it.

They fled with an undetermined sum, police said. 

Police seeking Attica ATM gang

Police said on Friday they are searching for a gang that has been blowing up ATMs around Attica in recent months and fleeing with the cash contents after another attack earlier in the day in the Acharnes district of western Athens.

According to police reports, the gang members blew up a cash machine on Dekeleias Avenue at around 4 a.m. and made off with an undisclosed amount. 

Athens police bust prolific ATM theft racket

Police were on Tuesday questioning eight suspected members of a prolific ATM theft racket believed to have netted more than 300,000 euros in eight months of operation. 

The suspects - three Greeks and five Albanian men aged 20 to 36 - have been linked to more than 50 hits on cash machines in Attica, Thessaloniki, Fthiotida and Evia.

Athens police seek thieves who blew open ATM in Papagou

Unidentified assailants used a homemade explosive device to blow open a bank ATM machine in the Athens suburb of Papagou in the early hours of Monday morning.

The thieves made off with an unspecified sum from the National Bank ATM, according to police who were examining closed circuit television footage from the area for clues about their identity. 

Once Again a Blasted ATM in Sofia

An ATM in Sofia was blast again, Nova TV reported. The device was located in a grocery store in the "Druzhba" district of Sofia. The explosion caused damage to the glass showcases of the store as well as to the ATM itself. It is still unclear whether and how much money is stolen from the device. On the site are working teams of the Ministry of the Interior.
