Kosovo Arrests Two Serbs for Alleged Espionage

"On this specific case, the Gjilan/Gnjilane Prosecution's Department for Serious Crimes, yesterday, on July 10, 2019, detained two persons of Serb nationality on the suspicion that they have committed the criminal offence of espionage," said Liridona Xheladini from the Gjilan/Gnjilane prosecution.

Minister of Finance in Serbian Government Sinisa Mali informed the public about this.
"This is great news for Serbia and yet another confirmation that we succeeded in this way to prove the illegitimacy of so-called Kosovo institutions. Namely, we have proved that nothing can be done by using force and without striking agreement with official Belgrade", Mali said.

Still, he points out that it is impossible to reach agreement with Albanians as they say that "we have to recognize Kosovo within current border lines". Kosovo Liberation Army Ex-Guerrilla Convicted of War Crime

The court in Prizren on Wednesday sentenced Remzi Shala, a former Kosovo Liberation Army, KLA unit commander known during wartime as 'The Red Apple', to 14 years in prison for committing a war crime.

Shala was convicted of the kidnapping of Haxhi Perteshi from Duhel, a village in the Suhareka/Suva Reka area in 1998. Days after he was seized, Perteshi was found dead.
