Two Serbs detained after disappearance of Albanian
BELGRADE - Two Serbs were placed in police custody in connection with a recent disappearance of a 17-year-old Albanian in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica, local radio Kontakt Plus has reported.
The radio station said Sunday that the two persons were remanded in custody for up to 48 hours based on a decision by the prosecutor in the case.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA -- The mayors of northern and southern Kosovska Mitrovica have said that "a series of unfortunate events" had "upset people" in both parts of the town.
The northern Kosovo town is divided into its southern, ethnic Albanian, and northern, mostly Serb parts.

BELGRADE - Five persons, three of Albanian and two of Bosniak nationality, sustained injuries after being attacked by unknown people in Kosovska Mitrovica Friday afternoon.
Kosovo Police Deputy Regional Commander Besim Hoti told Tanjug that the five persons had been injured in three separate incidents in the center of the northern part of Mitrovica.
