Croatia Mulls Using Retired Police To Handle Migrant Crisis
The Croatian Interior Ministry is planning to introduce an auxiliary reserve police force that will draw also on retired officers - mostly to help deal with the migrant burden and strengthen Croatia's border, which is also an EU external border.

Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic says the Serbian government will annul a decree on auxiliary police, and that the unit envisaged by it will not be set up.
Stefanovic stressed that the decree on establishing "the auxiliary police" was adopted in 2005, while "a big witch hunt" has now developed over the issue.
