Turkey summons French, German envoys over PKK activities
Turkey has summoned ambassadors of France and Germany over the activities of the terrorist organization PKK on their territories, warning all NATO members, as well as Sweden and Finland, who wish to join the alliance, to end their ties and links with all anti-Turkey terror groups.

NATO allies should encourage Finland and Sweden to take concrete steps regarding Turkey's concerns about the "support given to terror groups," Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on May 27.
The minister reminded that Turkey's opposition to Finland and Sweden's NATO bid is due to their "support to terrorist organizations."

Turkey closes airspace to Russian aircraft to Syria: FM
Turkey has closed its airspace to Russian civilian and military aircraft that carry troops to Syria, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on April 23.
Turkey and Russia have "agreed to suspend the use of the airspace for Russian military aircraft and even civilian aircraft carrying soldiers to Syria," Çavuşoğlu told reporters aboard his flight to Uruguay.
Turkey’s top diplomat to embark on 7-day South America tour
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will start a seven-day South America tour that includes six states.
A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry informed that Çavuşoğlu will visit Uruguay, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama and Venezuela between April 23 and 29.
NATO allies want longer Ukraine war to weaken Moscow: Turkish FM
Turkey on April 20 accused some of its NATO allies of wanting the war in Ukraine to last longer in order to weaken Russia.
