Turkey in league of global powers: Turkish FM
Turkey cannot remain irrelevant to the problems of its region because the country is now in the league of global powers, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on April 17.
"As Turkey, we are not just a regional power. Turkey is now a global power," Çavuşoğlu said, speaking at an iftar dinner in the Black Sea province of Samsun.

Turkey to continue efforts for truce in Ukraine: FM
Turkey is continuing efforts for reaching a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia despite all the difficulties and intensifying clashes, especially in the eastern parts of Ukraine, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has said.

Turkey continues phone diplomacy over war in Ukraine
The presidents of Turkey and Belarus spoke by phone early on March 1 on the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia.

Amid other changes to boost their institution, the grouping of Turkic countries will change its name to the Organization of Turkic States, Turkey's foreign minister said on Nov. 11.
Addressing fellow foreign ministers of the Turkic Council ahead of a leaders' summit on Friday, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu welcomed Turkmenistan, which has attended the council as an observer state.
