The leader of Turkey?s nationalist party has questioned Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an?s conscience, adding the families of security personnel killed over the past several months across the country were crying out in vain.

Political leaders and the Turkish president have conveyed their messages for the Feast of Sacrifice, which starts on Sept. 24 and lasts for four days, all putting an emphasis on the terror attacks towards the country's security forces in the past two months. 

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Head Devlet Bahçeli and Republican People?s Party (CHP) Deputy Head Bülent Tezcan have both condemned the investigation launched into the Do?an Media Group over news reports accused of ?making terrorism propaganda.?

Turkey's nationalist opposition leader voiced growing concerns over the prospect of an ethnic conflict that could stem from ongoing polarization in society amid a spiral of violence between the country's security forces and the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).

Turkey?s nationalist leader has joined condemnation of a vandalism attack at the headquarters of Hürriyet daily newspaper, calling it ?very awful.?

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Devlet Bahçeli called Hürriyet?s editor-in-chief Sedat Ergin on Sept. 7 and voiced his sadness over the attack. 

Bahçeli added the number of these kinds of attacks had recently increased.

The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) has expelled one of its senior figures for breaking party lines to join the interim election government led by the Justice and Development Party (AKP).

The MHP's Central Disciplinary Committee expelled Tu?rul Türke? in a unanimous decision on Sept. 5. 

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Tu?rul Türke? has called on Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli to call for an extraordinary congress on Oct. 4, in order to canvass the party?s grassroots stance on Türke??s joining of the interim election government. 

Representatives of opposition political parties criticized police raids on media outlets of the Koza Media Group on Sept. 1, with a main opposition party forming a commission to examine pressure on media outlets in Turkey.
