Greek current account surplus widens
Greece's current account balance showed a larger surplus in May compared to the same month last year, on the back of an improved balance in the primary income account due to lower net payments for interest and dividends, the Bank of Greece said on Friday.
Central bank data showed the surplus at 301 million euros from a surplus of 37 million euros in May 2018.

This May Turkey's current account balance posted a $151 million surplus, improving from a $6.17 billion deficit in the same month last year, the Turkish Central Bank announced.
Current account deficit shrinks in April, tourism revenues up
Greece's current account balance showed a slightly smaller deficit in April compared to the same month last year, on lower payments for fuel imports and higher receipts from transport services, the Bank of Greece said on Thursday.
Central bank data showed the deficit at 1.4 billion euros ($1.58 billion) from a deficit of 1.486 billion euros in April 2018.
IMF Lifts Bulgaria's 2019 GDP Growth Forecast to 3.3%
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said on Tuesday that it expects the Bulgarian economy to grow by a real 3.3% in 2019, up from its October 2018 projection for 3.1% growth, reports SeeNews.
Bulgaria's gross domestic product is then expected to rise by a real 3.0% in 2020, the IMF said in the latest edition of its World Economic Outlook (WEO) report.
Greek current account deficit expands
Bank of Greece figures showed on Wednesday that the country's current account deficit expanded by 2.1 billion euros last year, compared to 2017.
The growth of the deficit is mainly attributed to the increase in imports which accompanied the economy's emergence from recession.

Current account deficit widens in November
Greece's current account balance showed a wider deficit in November compared to the same month a year ago, on the back of a larger trade gap and a weaker primary income balance, the Bank of Greece said on Monday.
Central bank data showed the deficit at 1.417 billion euros from a deficit of 1.125 billion euros in November 2017.
