Zarif: Staying on track towards implementation essential
NEW YORK - The head of the UN Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) Farid Zarif has called on all residents of Kosovo, particularly Serbs, to take part in the June 8 elections for the Kosovo assembly, expressing hope that, once the elections are complete, the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue will resume without delay.

UN Security Council discusses report on Kosovo
BELGRADE - The UN Security Council will hold a meeting on Tuesday to discuss the latest report by Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on the situation in Kosovo, and Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will also speak at the meeting.
Nikolic will meet with Ban during his visit to New York, the presidential press service has stated.

Kosovo Journalists Association Appoints New Leader
Zekirja Shabani from the daily newspaper Tribuna was appointed new head of the Association of Journalists of Kosovo after a vote by around 200 members.
The journalists from various media outlets also voted for eight new board members.

France sends 18 tons of food for flood victims in Serbia

Fugitive Drenica Group members brought before court
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - A trial before the Basic Court in north Kosovska Mitrovica of seven members of the so-called Drenica Group of the former paramilitary ethnic Albanians’ Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), who are accused of war crimes, has continued, and three fugitive members of the group showed up before the judge on Friday.
Office for KiM condemns threats to Tanjug reporter
BELGRADE - The Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) condemned in the harshest terms on Friday threats issued against Tanjug News Agency correspondent from Kosovska Mitrovica Zeljko Tvrdisic on Facebook, and urged the international community to take them seriously.
The Office called on the authorities to find and punish the one behind the threats.
