Bosnian Family Fear for Murder Victim's Missing Father

The authorities in Republika Srpska, the mainly Serbian entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, have continued to put pressure on opposition demonstrators protesting over the unsolved murder of David Dragicevic, while his father, Davor, remains missing since protesters clashed with police in Banja Luka on Sunday.

Bosnian Serb Police Disperse Dragicevic Death Protesters

Several people were arrested in Banja Luka, the administrative centre of Bosnia's mainly Serb entity Republika Srpska, on Sunday night as thousands of protesters gathered again, in the latest in a series of demonstrations over the past several months over the unsolved death of 21-year-old David Dragicevic.

"I, Milorad Dodik, will personally physically defend police"

"I said nothing because I was informed that, on the order of the Prosecution, Mister (Davor) Dragicevic was to be brought in. I don't think that I, as a politician, should react," the chairman of the BiH Presidency said.

He added that what happened in Banja Luka's central square on Tuesday was not an arrest, but detention.

Serbian minister says Bosnia colleague's claim is scandalous

"I would not exclude this possibility. Of course, nobody will admit it, and everyone will deny it now, but yesterday and today in Banja Luka there was public talk about such units coming from Serbia to help Milorad Dodik. I know sources of information, but at this moment I would not speak directly about those sources," he told N1.

Vucic: Blatant lie, nobody asked us to get involved in RS

"This is about a blatant lie. Nobody asked that of us, nor do we get involved in the internal affairs of BiH," the Serbian president said, adding:

"I'm wondering how this occurred to somebody. We are following the events in Banja Luka, we want everything to end peacefully. That's all I can say, everything else would be interfering."
