IIB Places a New CZK-Denominated Bond under the MTN Programme
On May 19, 2020 International Investment Bank successfully executed the second transaction under its MTN Programme, which was registered this March on the Dublin Stock Exchange. Czech koruna (CZK)-denominated bonds in the total volume of CZK 621 million (approximately EUR 22,6 million) were issued with a maturity of three years and will be listed on Euronext Dublin.
The BNB Releases into Circulation a Partially Gold-Plated Silver Commemorative Coin ‘100 Years of University of National and World Economy’
From 11 May 2020 the Bulgarian National Bank will release into circulation a partially gold-plated silver commemorative coin '100 Years of University of National and World Economy', BNB reported.
It will be sold for BGN 72 (seventy two levs).

Greece opens books for 7-year bond
Greece opened books for a new seven-year bond issue, Refinitiv's capital markets news service IFR, reported on Wednesday.
Guidance was set at mid-swaps plus 230 basis points.

Citi expects fewer Greek bond issues this year
Greece will carry out fewer bond issues in 2020, Citigroup has predicted, pointing to the market unrest generated by the new coronavirus, though the US group considers a credit-positive development that Greek bonds have been included in the European Central Bank's extraordinary bond-buying program.

Central bank cuts key interest rate to 2 per cent
The Board of the National Bank of Romania (BNR) decided Friday in an emergency monetary policy sitting, to cut the key interest rate to 2 per cent, from 2.5 per cent, as of 23 March 2020, a release by the central bank informs.

Turkish Central Bank int'l reserves at $102.5 bln in January
The Turkish Central Bank's official reserves stood at $102.5 billion as of the end of January, the bank announced on Feb. 28.
The January figures showed total reserve assets dropped 2.9 percent from the previous month.
Foreign currency reserves - in convertible foreign currencies - fell 4.7 percent to $73.5 billion during the same period.
